We need your help!
Over the course of the weekend, we will need over 260 volunteer shifts filled in order to make this event run smoothly and efficiently. Please consider spending some time volunteering as a judge, isolation monitor, spotter…there are so many ways that we could use your help! Those volunteers that work 3 shifts over the course of the weekend will earn a ticket to Open Finals. These tickets are very difficult to come by, so please email info@usaclimbing.org with your name, phone number, availability, and any climbing competition experience you may have.

Attention Open Competitors
There will be a slight change to the format and scoring system for this ABS 11 Open National Championship.
This year, competitors will enjoy 6 boulder problems in the Qualifier Round. Competitors will have a 4 minute climbing period on each problem, followed by a 4 minute rest period. There will be no transition period. For the Finals Round, we will take the top 15 athletes from the Qualifier Round. These competitors will have 4 boulder problems to climb, with a 5 minute climbing period and a 5 minute rest period. Again, there will be no transition period.
The scoring system for our Open National Championship has changed slightly, as well. Competitors will be ranked according to the following criteria:
a) The number of successfully completed problems;
b) The total number of bonus points;
c) The total number of attempts to complete any successfully completed problems;
d) The total number of attempts to achieve any bonus points
Attention Youth Competitors
